Academics and Sports Program

The Academics and Sports program provides the opportunity for boys to learn new techniques, increase scholarship skills, develop sportsmanship, and have fun. The program allows boys to be recognized for physical fitness and talent-building activities in a variety of subjects earned in or outside scouting. Scouts are rewarded for their achievements with Belt Loops & Pins.

Camping

Cub Scout camping opportunities are available through Pack and Council Camp Outs. Fun and excitement is combined with doing one's best, getting along with others, and developing an appreciation for ecology and the world of the outdoors. Summer Day Camp, overnight and 4-day resident camping through our Council programs are packed with theme-oriented action and excitement.

Outings and Special Events

We plan outings that are free or at a low cost to the Scout. Outings are often planned for the whole family. Transportation is the responsibility of the parent/designated adult unless otherwise arranged. Sign-up sheets with all details of the outing/event are available at den and pack meetings. They are usually located on the tables near the stage in Fellowship Hall. There are no refunds for missed outings. An adult must sign-up for all outings and events.

 Rocket Launch  Flag Retirement  Ceremony
 Pinewood Derby  Thanksgiving Food Drive
 4th of July Parade  Lock-ins
 Family Campout  Rain Gutter Regatta
Private Pool Party  Welcome Garden Clean Up

An adult must accompany all Scouts to Den & Pack Meetings, Special Events, and Outings. An adult must accompany Tiger cubs at all times. Behavior and orderly conduct is the responsibility of the Scout and his parent/adult. Scouts are expected to arrive on time and in uniform, bring their manual to each meeting and must remain with their Dens. Inappropriate items such as pocketknives, games and trading cards are not allowed at any Cub Scout function without leader permission.
